View Full Version : Low Frequency filter
I hate bassy voices going through my subwoofer, i would love to be able to filter all incoming voices and get rid of everything below 120hz because thats what my sub is set to kick in at, having this changeable for personal tastes would be nice.

The latest client version of TS has already a busscut filter included.
Is that filter setting fixed? Is it always on and not possible to change the frequency cutoff?
I've been noticing some low frequency humming that sounds rather strong for other people on TS. I canīt hardly hear it but other complain whenever I speak. I thought that a cutoff would remove this? When I record a soundclip the humming is almost inaudible, same when using skype echo.

You canīt adjust the basscut. The older clients of TS donīt have that filter.
That sudden hum or bassloop appears if the connection of the server has problems with packet send/receive.
If you want to improve audibilty of voices just engage the basscut on your stereo.
An adjustable equalizer was suggestion for TS 3.
My suggestion: use a good microphone or put a Foam "Pop" protectors over the mic.
