Bandwidth Question

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could elaborate a little more on the issue of bandwidth for the linux server? I'm wondering how much bandwidth each person uses (approximately), so I can judge how many people I can have on my server at once. Does anyone have any statistics?

If anyone could help out, that would be great.
