I setup a linux server and from my Mac using TeamSpeex it works great, using the actual TeamSpeak client for windows....no one can connect....same thing everyone else says basically.....the client says "[10:18:20] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it"

the debug log says the following

---------------------------------------------------------------

It is running on 8767, it IS running...

Any ideas?

Oh yea, i just ran the connection test on my windows machine and big surprise....the UDP port is red...

So i ran it from my mac as well, and that is red too, yet the client connects AND works....

so what do i do about this?

Is this server within your own LAN ? Any firewall running ? Did you went thorugh the FAQ (no reply / timeout) ?

No it is not on my LAN, i ran a sniffer and every port is open, so I am not sure there is a firewall....and no i didn't check the FAQ, but I will....

Usually you the check the FAQ before opening a thread. But there is a good excuse for not doing so: the current FAQ system really sucks and will be replaced in the near future.

Stay tuned.
