Ip Addresses

I noticed that my TeamSpeak server allows people to connect to it with multiple URLs, not just IP addresses.

On my TeamSpeak, people can connect using the following URLs:

www.gameaction.org
www.ds101.net
www.hamwave.com
www.nelcohauling.com
www.ajrelish.com
www.stewartmarine.com

And many more. These are just a few of the URLs on my server. so instead of telling people to connect to IP 209.216.253.5, I just say IP= gameaction.org and they get in. Does any 1 else also have it set up this way?

Just discovered this. Also, if using another Teamspeak server on another port other then the default port, say port 1234, connection would be accepted on gameaction.org:1234

Oh, cool I never notized this.
I connected everytime by using the IP address and hmm now I understand how to join servers that do not have the port 8767. Your help makes me able to use the TeamSpeak server I had rented for 1 1/2 year now. I tried 18 months to connect to it because it's port was not 8767.

you'Re a wehoster? then this is understandable because the domains are all routed to your root-server, and only the web(httpd)-server decides which website he is asked to display (via vhost-settings, which are often written by confixx).
