View Full Version : Banning Myself??
Everytime someone bans a user in my TS Server, it bans my LAN IP, therefore banning anyone who tries to access my Server.
Is there a way around this so I can actually ban people, or is this a flaw in the setup of the server?

r u the host for other poeple or is it for private use
I am hosting it for my gaming clan.
The server is being ran from the lead computer on my Network. All the files are in my Program Files folder and I use the server icon to start the server.
When I go to Players/Get Connection Info, and look at the Client IP, instead of it being an outgoing IP, it gives me my lan IP with a colon and more numbers after it..for example My Client Ip would be 172.16.1.1:4661 but it changes everytime I log in....
Any info about this set of problems.....

hmmm, why are you banning people, perhaps you could take the server off the public list and add a server password to make it more secure. otherwise i havent got a clue
I have the admin setting set to clan server. I dont' get many people joining the server that I don't know, but I have had a few run ins with very ignorant people that won't stay away from the server.
