Dear All,
I just Installed TS Server on a LAN PC.
It was initially running a s a standard program and I then installed it as a service with the utility provided on TeamSpeak web server.
The server also has a dynamic IP with redirection with DynDNS.org.
My Router has been properly configured for port forwarding to the inside IP for the three TS ports (UDP audio, TCP query and Admin) and all are fine.
All seems to run fine, the test script at TeamSpeak Web finds everything OK.
LAN Users can connect to the server OK (using internal IP)
WAN Users can connect OK either with IP:Port or DNS:Port.
The problem I have is as follows:
As soon as I connect TWO LAN users or One WAN user + One LAN user (I could not test 2 WAN users) the server disconnects us after a little while and apparently HANGS. The Taskmanager shows that the service is still running but the server does not answer to connection requests anymore !
After around 15 seconds, I get disconnected witrh:
audio message "Your connection to the server has been terminated"
and text "Connection Timed out"
It is worth noting that during that time I can speak but the other user does not hear anything....
Then if I try to reconnect I get:
Connecting to ...
No reply from Server
Maybe the server is offline
or teamspeak is not running on it
TS Server 2.0.20.1
Server OS: Windows 2000 Pro with SP4
TS Client 2.0.32.60
Client OS: XP Pro with SP2
To recover, I have to go to the services applet on the server and restart the service. Please note that the same problem existed BEFORE I made Teamspeak a service.
Could it be a Codec problem ? (since we cannot hear each other) ?
Or any other idea ???
Thanks for any pointer .....
Pims
