Ok! I have seen a lot of post regarding the superadmin topic and If you made it this far, then you don't mind seeing another one. :)

My issue is simular to other ppl, that I can not log into the superadmin side of the web admin site. I can log into the admin side with the admin name and password given to me in the server.log file no problem. But when I try to go to the superadmin side and use the superadmin name and password, located below the admin info, in the server.log file, it comes back as "Login failed. back to login page".

I even checked the server.dbs file like some posts recomended and it also has the same name and password. I have another issue with my teamspeak server startup saying "Error starting Daemon. Abort", however, the server seams to be working fine none the less.

Before you reply with anything please be warned, everything I have learned about working in Linux was self taught yesterday in about 10 mins. So I'm as green as it gets and might need more help then the average bear! :)

If this is a bug, maybe some help on how to superadmin the server through a text editor like VI. But again, a kick in the right direction will be in order.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Guy

I figured it out. my password had what appeared to be 3 - 1's or 3 - L's. On my shell, 1's and L's look identical. I just started to go through the sequence till I found the right password combination. Is this a common problem or is it just the shell I'm using?

I'd say this is a "problem" of the shell font you use. Depending on the font you use, in Word you get the same problem. You're aware that the superadmin is ONLY for webinterface and TCPQuery, NO for client login
