i download the server and i was traing to make a server
i maked him and all it good and fine but...im teling to my friend log in...i told him the ip and he cant to come in.
i traid to log in with my ather computer and i cant log in.
why??
what i need to do for get the server on lan?
how i get a real ip??
plz help!!

hmm what is the message u get is it
[17:14:24] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

first does the server have a password

second when loging in u have to put in the nickname and the username and the password

third is the ip right that u have typed in

guys u dont get it...

i mean that i make a server i download the server and i install it and i make myself a SA and more and more and more....but my firend cant get to him why?

and if u want to know i will show u here look my ip...10.0.0.1:8767
its not a reglar ip why?

how i make it to a regular ip?

dude when i try to come in to the ip:10.0.0.1 i can enter him!!
but my friend cant
im asking why i cant make it publik?

ahh, hmm it might be a port problem are they unlocked, also what do u mean by 'why its not in the lan?'

the was'ent gave us a stupid server that onliy me can get in to it...

why ather peaple cant login to the server...

they gave the download for we make a server and peaple for all the world can come in to it

right, the ports might be blocked, u can get on it but ure freinds cant cause ure hosting the server, check the firewall and see if the ones called server are allowed

in the firewall if u go to exceptions or something there should be tho thing in a list called server if u allow them both, look at the pic i attached, ure firewall may be different

if u have this firewall go to control panel and go to security centre, it will only be there if u have SP2, then click windows firewall at the bottom

then in the firewall section go to the tab called exceptions and check the 2 things called server, there might only be once it depends

all u do in the exceptions tab find the two things called server and check em liek in the pic, then it should work it might not tho but it should

what u could try is click add port and call it UDP, check the UDP check box and put in the port number section 8767

what u do is a screen shot then paste it into paint and save it as a GIF to the desktop and when typing a message go to advanced mode and click add attachment near the bottom

yeah that should be right, try it now, if that doesnt work there isnt much i can do i think
