:confused: My friends can't connect it says the server is offline but i am online @ it but i read some topics here but don't understand anything :confused:

Open the file server.ini that is created in the same directory where the server executable is located.

A:
Symptoms:
People who are using a home router (NAT) can't connect to your server, but they can connect to other servers.
People connected directly to internet, can connect to your server.
The machine that is running the server has more than one ip number.

The server is probably sending replies using a different ip address than the one the clients connect to. (Most likely they connected to an alias, not the primary ip). Nat routers don't know what to do with this foreign incoming data (unknown ip+port), and drop the packets.

Solution:
Open the file server.ini that is created in the same directory where the server executable is located.
Look for the following line in section [Main Config]:

BoundToIp=


Modify it like this:

BoundToIp=213.202.254.115
This will make the server listen and send only on the specified address. Even easier is to let the clients connect to the primary IP of the machine.

where it says 'BoundToIp1=' after the = u put youre ip, it tells u ure ip if u right cick on the server icon in the corner and go to youre ip's, youre ip should be there

that IP is a PRIVATE IP !!! http://www.duxcw.com/faq/network/privip.htm
This IP is NOT Valid for use over the WAN (WWW) => your friends which I assume ar not in your LAN will not be able to connect over the WAN to your server by using this IP
=> they have to use your WAN IP which I assuem is the one "213.224.118.65" (note: this IP is subject to change => read more here: http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=15648

By reading your thread, I'm not really sure if you know what you do..... so I question if you configured the port forwarding correct (you use a router with a NAT ?) ? There are many site's which deal with "how to configure a port forwarding with a specific router". You better ask there (=> google) should you be unsure about that setting.
Before you test bindtoIP1,... I'd make sure your port forwarding is setup correct, your're freinds do not timeout and they use the correct WAN IP (see here: http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=4&item=25#q25 & http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=3&item=24#q24)

I've posted quite some infos for you to read and I would have expected much more then only a "yeah and".... :confused:
Probably someting like: I understand that point and have tested that but I don't get point XYZ.....


I don't rent TS servers myself nor do I get money for any of them, however I would recommend you renting one if you have problems on how to configure a router correct (you need more then just basic knowledge for running a server). I can't help you further if "yeah and" is all you can tell me, and this leads me to belive, you don't have the needed skills for runnign a server, maybe I'm wrong, but pls profe me so... :confused:

Shadow the ip 192.168.123.186:8767 is the address of your computer behind your firewall.

You need to right click on the server in the task bar. Go to You ips and you will see the one above being the first ip. The 2nd IP in the list is the web ip for your TS Server.
