Can TS be use offline in a LAN?

I used TS before but always online! Now because im playing a Lan Party i need Team Speak to work offline!

Is that possible! i already download TS server and criated a server... if in the lan i get the ip to my friends will it work?

or do i need to do something else?

also do i need to open something on the switch during the lan so the other ppl have access to server?!

alot of question:p ...but main point: Can i create a offline TS server, and how?:confused:

yes you can run TS on a LAN, what you need to do is have someone on the LAN host the server, and then you need to know the internal IP of that computer, if your running a windows computer go Start>Run> type CMD then a box will pop up, then type IPCONFIG a bunch of data will pop up, look for a line that says IP Address, for most people it will be a number such as 192.168.1.XXX that is the IP address you should connect to with the client versions of TS from the other computers...thats how i connect to my TS on my network, becuase i have my TS broadcast out to the net and I also access from various computers on my home network
