Hello,

I have installed TS2 on my new computer (ASUS A8N SLI Premium w. XP pro).
When talking on TS2, the voice activation seems to generate echo to the other users.
If I use "Push to talk" there is a lot of beeps generated by the repeat...
I use TS2 when playing BF2, and it doesn't seems to work properly (in fact, the microphone doen't work at all).

Thank you for your advise

The key repeat? You mean the DING DING DING DING?

That is because you binded it to a letter. Bad man.. Bad MAN!
You aren't supposed to bind it to a letter.. If you do , then windows tries to find a place to type it. with nowhere to go, it goes DING to tell you that you have effed up...

You are supposed to bind it to , CTRL, SHIFt, TAB? Something that doesn't ding, or something that isn't a letter. Also, I use my mouse, since in BF2 you use your mouse to look arnd, I just bind it to mouse 3 (which is pushing down the scrolly wheel) you do know that is a button?

Well, push that down and you can talk.. Thats the most ingenious bind ever! Shift like, makes you sprint or walk depending on the game xD

Thx Thread!

I'm not as bad as you can imagine!
I used the top right key which is "-", easy to find.
Not a letter, but a character, I recognize.

I'll find another convenient key.

Thanks again for the explanation.

I just bind it to mouse 3
Thats what I use too! I love it.

On another note, Actually while in most games or while the start bar is selected you CAN use regular keys and it will NOT beep. (At least not for me.)

you can deactivate the DING in the win sound settings and use a letter
