The error that all my friends have is this:
No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

And my server is on:confused:

why don't you search the forum for similar threads?
and give us some information about your network-configuration (firewalls,router...)

bradgyton
28-12-2005, 14:32
you can connect because you are on the computer that is hosting it others may not be able to connect because the posrts on youre router havent been forwarded

chiro

forward the ports. and make sure that you give your friends your IP not your network IP!

chiro
28-12-2005, 21:57

sgtbenc
28-12-2005, 22:24
You could forward the webadmin and tcpquery ports too if you want. The defaults are 14534 and 51234 respectively.

chiro
29-12-2005, 18:03

chiro
29-12-2005, 18:08

Are you giving your friends the right ip address?

chiro
29-12-2005, 23:45
yes, i give my address: 192.168.1.4

sgtbenc
30-12-2005, 00:41
That is yur internal/LAN IP. You need to give them Your WAN IP. You can find out your IP Address at http://www.whatismyip.com

chiro
30-12-2005, 02:15
OK. I go to this web and give me: 82.213.235.49, i put this IP but the program says error and write:
[02:13:46] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

sgtbenc

Then something is wrong with your port forwarding. What kind of router do you have?

chiro
30-12-2005, 03:10
I have a:

U.S.Robotics SureConnect ADSL Ethernet/USB Router
Software Version : 20021029 40E2BE45

chiro
30-12-2005, 03:12
But i can connect on 192.168.1.4 but my friends cannot connect, but i cannot connect on 82.213.235.49

niek_1992
30-12-2005, 12:38
yeah thats right,
YOU have to connect with 192.168.1.4 but your friends have to connect with 82.213.235.49 !!

you are in your network, so you must use your network IP, and your friends are outside of your network, so they must connect to 82.213.235.49!!

chiro
30-12-2005, 16:47
I can connect but my friends can't

hTIG
30-12-2005, 18:45
I would tend to think that you still haven't port forwarded correctly.

Master-

Only yourself can do it.

Go to www.portforward.com and do it clearly.

chiro
30-12-2005, 20:21
my public address is 192.168.1.4
an the local address is 82.213.235.49

is it true?

sgtbenc

my public address is 192.168.1.4

Yeah, thats right.

YOU have to connect with 192.168.1.4
Wrong, he can connect with either 192.168.1.4 OR 82.213.235.49 OR localhost OR 127.0.0.1
It doesn't matter which.

chiro
31-12-2005, 17:30
I can connect with 192.168.1.4, localhost and 127.0.01 but not with 82.213.235.49.

I opened the ports but my friends can't connect i give to my friends: 82.213.235.49:8767

Well this always works for me....If you cant figure it out alone then call your isp for help and/or the people that made the modem/router. Just tell them what you are trying to do and dont let them go till its figured out....Only thing left to do that I can think of after reading back over the thread.

Chiro,

What is your ISP?

Which is your router?

I´ve tried to connect to your server and it is not possible. Maybe you have a dynamic IP?
