Using a home server, how many people do you think that a server would be able to hold with DSL?
I have had 10 people on my TS server with no problems for me on my DSL connection, Granted I was only hosting the TS server while playing Battlefield 1942.

it depends on your max. upload bandwith...if you have DSL1000 your max upload is 128kbit/s (in most cases)...that is enough for 5 people on a middle codec... it doesn't matter if you have a router or not, the only thing you have to look for is how many connections your router can handle at one time

yeah, just use the lowest codec to allow more people but the quality isnt as good

there is a FAQ dealing with that (see my sig). With only the info you give an answer is completly impossible. DSL is not = DSL........ what is you up / down bandwidth,....
Some people have a 150/50 DSL, others have a 6000/600, this is quite a difference.
