After searching through the forums for others who have had the same problem I found this thread:

http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=12088

No solution was ever presented, they never figured out the exact cause of the problem either...

What happens:

I run Teamspeak(Whatever version is current, downloaded it from website today)
After running teamspeak it works perfectly fine until I minimize it.
When I click on it in the system tray it comes back but it is greyed out, nothing is clickable, the only thing I can do is to click on it again in system tray and hide/show/disconnect/connect.

I have narrowed down the problem on my system, and it seems to follow with what the people in that thread were saying, I currently use Objectdock (http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/) to replace explorer's task bar and system tray.

My User Interface (http://www.deviantart.com/view/25346547/) As you can see the dock along the top acts as my system tray.

When I re-enable explorer's task bar/system tray and click on Teamspeak in there it functions normally, when I click on it Objectdock's system tray, it does as described, from what I can guess the program is set to look for something in explorer, since the other people mentioned using Blackbox, a shell alternative, and desktopx/objectbar to replace their task bar/system tray as well.

Alright, I am not asking for you all to put in a special fix just for those using the software described above, I am more looking for an alternative way to fix it on my end, I tried running under different compatability in hopes of Teamspeak being set up to react differently to older operating systems.

Any thoughts anyone?

Nice desktop!

I've tried to set up TeamSpeak 2 with ObjectDock and it didn't work on my system, too. Seems like the TeamSpeak 2 Tray Icon is incompatible with ObjectDock (I used version 1.05), but maybe other forum users have their own suggestions or maybe ObjectDock 1.2 fixes your problem.

Except that it isn't just Objectdock, it has problems with alternative shells, like Blackbox which is listed, and DesktopX, and I am guessing it would also most likely have problems with Aston Shell, and anything else that replaces the system tray in any manner.

And thanks, I put a lot of work and coding into that desktop ^^

Does anyone by chance have any other ideas? Any developers here maybe?
