I have noticed some of the current features are not enough to handle the spammers and childish antics of some of the people who get into a server. true a password on the server would stop anonymous annoyances, but the server has to remain unpassworded for newcomers to join the fray.
Here are some ideas that came to mind when battling a retard recently...
1. When you Mute someone it adds to a current mute list on the Client side so that when someone comes into channel their ip/hashtable/name or combination of some sort is checked and auto muted if they have already been muted once before.
- Current TS2 allows a muted individual to leave to lobby or logoff and return only to find themselves not muted. This is a hassle when in the game and trying to enjoy yourself and a person starts playing unenjoyable music, static, soundclips and the like and a Server Admin isnt available to BAN them.
2. A Channel Admin kicked these people only to have them reenter the channel and start again. 20 kicks and it didnt stop this immature individual(s). Could we possibly see a channel kick duration so that people kicked from a channel have to wait 10 minutes to reenter back into the channel? Maybe a variable time created by admins. unsure if there is a Channel Ban. Allow someone to stay on the TS server but denied to one specific channel? the Server Admin SA isnt easy to get ahold of and I'm not sure what it would take to get him to change settings. :):)
