Ok here's the situation. I have two network cards with 2 different ip address. I want ts to be set on 1 of the 2 ip address permentaly. How can this be done if at all??? when the computer starts up or if a ip goes down it switches to the other 1 but i dont want the ip to switch i want it to stay perment so that all client's can keep 1 ip address not have to switch between the 2.

there is no program to use the same ip all the time, the only way thats possbile would be if youre computer was connected to the net 24/7. what u need is a redirect from www.no-ip.com. u make an account make a host then download the software and set that up and instead of typing in the ip they type in somehitng like blablabla.no-ip.info:8767 to connect

my computer is conected to the net 24/7. via broadband. this no ip site tell me more about. to lazy and at work to go to it right now. did u get where i said network cards and clients connecting. it was my fault that i did not specify that i was connected to the internet with both card's that have two different ips from my dhcp or dns, i get them mixed up, server from my internet company. the clients that are trying to connect are not on my local lan but on the net them self's (Wan).
