sound breaking up

i can connect to servers and everything fine, but once im in there, whenever i try to talk my voice gets really really choppy and no one else can understand me. i can hear everyone else perfectly fine but for some reason i cant send without it being badly broken up. ive tried different codecs but they dont seem to make a difference. any ideas plz?

Have you tested your mic with your own computer in the volume settings?

ive verified the mic works because it works fine in other programs too.....for some reason its just breaking up in teamspeak

ive got roadrunner broadband, and everyone incoming is alright, but even playback to myself is broken up and impossible to understand

If you turn the top slider in your "Sound Input/Output Options" much past the middle then sometimes it gets crackled. Try lowering it.
