Hi all,
I use the microsoft tool "srvany.exe" to install a service for Teamspeak. All seems to be fine, the service is installed, entries in registry are done.
But If I go to "services" and try to start the teamspeak-service, i get an alert box with the message, that this service was stopped again which usually happens if an application is not doing anything.
So... what do I have to do to get this working? Do I have to start the server with a speacial aparameter?
Thank you
Michael aka Smoerble
somewhere around is a special TS version to be run as service. Have you tried this version ?

I've installed the above and attempted to install the service using the cmdline sc on a server 2003 - the service attempts a start, I get the tray icon then it errors out with "The service failed to respond to the start command" and then it shuts down.
Any suggestions on getting the service control to ignore that it didn't respond to the start command or something?

Okay - I'm a bone head and didn't search past my nose to find what I needed. The previous link is the service that you install. I guess you will need to make sure it is running while not logged into the console, but it works. =)

ok, with this solution it worked fine, the exe above was not needed.
Thanks for your input guys!
