I just bought a new Sound Blaster X-FI card and it works wonderfully except that my microphone no longer works! Any sugestions welcome.

Same here. I too, just purchased the new Sound Blaster X-FI card and the mic does not work either. All settings within Windows 2000 and TS (that I'm aware of) have been checked many times.

If any testing is needed with a newer version, please let us know.

The default input settings on Audigy and X-Fi cards is not "microphone" but instead "what you hear". Make sure it is set to microphone.

I cannot find an option (Input setting) where "What you hear" is a selection. Where can I find this setting?
