Hey guys.

First off I had a quick look around for a similar thread but couldn't find it so sorry if I have missed it.

Basically, my clan has started using TeamSpeak when playing BF2:MC online on Playstation because, as with most games, the in game coms are pretty rubbish.

Since we have started using it we have been accused of skipping and taking more hits blah blah blah. The people saying this know we use TeamSpeak and have said that it's because of the program all this has started to happen. I know TS is widely used by PC gamers so I'm guessing it isn't an issue on computers. But is it a different story for PS2 online? Will TS make you lag?

Cheers. :)

You want to tell us you have more lag since you got killed more often ? Is this true
Maybe you should drink less alc before playing....

No serious, any www appliaction in parallel to an game requires bandwidth and if you already have ot too much, you might get lags. If you are on a very frequent TS server where several peopel speak at the same time, you might get high bandwidth requirement. If oyur connection can't handle it => your datapackages get blocked, delayed,... => lag

So if you play BF on your PS2 and use TS in parallel on a PC, there can be only a bandwidth problem causing lags. Check out the bandwidth FAQ (see my signature)

When you play how many people do you have in the channel, and what is your upload speed of your net connection and are you the only person using the net connection or are there other machines in the house making use of it?
