I tried to download the client for windows. I went under it and then hit I Agree and the link is broken.
No, it's not. The link is working. Your system refuses to handle this download correctly. Check your security settings and any firewall programs you might have installed.

Ok, it was on so I turned it off. Link still isn't working. :(
The link is working for me and for most other people in the world. It must be a problem on your end.
And as we don't know anything about your system, you're on your own finding the problem.

Hmm I don't know what the problem is but I went to one of the similar links at the bottom and somebody had the same problem. Somebody replied with another link and it worked. :) Thanks for your help.
I have the same issue when I click to download the following:
TeamSpeak 2 Client (RC2)
SHA1: version 2.0.32.60 5.59 MB Download
this then brings me to the TeamSpeak End User License Agreement, where I click on "I agree" and nothing happens. It seems like it is trying to connect because I see the hourglass icon when scrolling down on the status bar, but again nothing happens. It's as if the screen freezes. If I click "Disagree" it brings me back to the Downloads page.
I am running MS Windows XP with all the updates and also have Norton Internet Security - which I have turned off the firewall and still nothing happens.
Can someone please give me a good, useable link where I can download this software?
Thanks.
Well, the download is FTP and thats port 21 right? So maybe you could try opening that?
OK this FTP must be the reason my computer might not be connecting. How do I fix this? Port 21... how do I open this? I have a Linksys Router, Norton Internet Security and Windows XP. People have told me that Windows XP should be able to handle FTP so there must be something to do with getting my router to let this link download through. ANy ideas? I have seen other posts on this topic but no real concrete answers.
OK - when entering ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/ into the address bar i come to the screen with all of the folders. I then click on the "4players" folder and it says permission denied. How do i get past this?
If i enter ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4palyers/ i get a "log on as" pop up that wants a user ID and password. what the hell? Am i missing something? This is getting really frustrating.
Please... someone help!
Try going to here: ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/
Thank you so much sgtbenc that link works!
ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/
If i enter this manually or go from this link it directs me to the Folder with all the TS2 apps.
Weird...only some of the link address will work and some wont.
I think the problem for me lies with the 4players folder and the launching of the ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe within the TS folders for some reason. When entering ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/ I get the "log on as" pop up that wants a user ID and password. It say I wont accept anonymous log ins and i tried logging in with everything I could think of with my e-mail address as the password - nada.
Upon entering the TS2 apps folder, nothing happened when I clicked on the ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe...
The "I agree" link does not work for me -
ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe
I had to use the following:
ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/
Then I dragged the file into MyDocuments folder and copied it there. That worked then once I had ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe on my harddrive it was able to execute and install on my computer. I tested the test servers and I was able to connect.
Hmmm... so it must be that you cannot access the 4players folder. Maybe something sensitive in there? But, it doesnt matter.
