same old connection problem

Hi,

My TS server was running ok for a few weeks - now people can not connect!

I have opened port UDP 8767 on the firewall and in my router (wireless network)

When I run the 'TS connection test' the IP address tests ok, the test fails at the UDP port.

People on the LAN can connect ok using the LAN IP 192.etc, no one can connect using the IP 216.etc


Any help would be most appreciated!!!!

When I run the 'TS connection test' the IP address tests ok, the test fails at the UDP port.If the UDP test fails, nobody can connect to your server from WAN.

Check your router setup. For example, if your router acts as a DHCP server it's possible that your PC's IP address has been changed. In that case, your port forwarding won't work.

Well, it's just an asumption but could it be that your WAN IP has changed? Some providers do claim to change your IP every 24 hours but never do up until the day you are not expecting it to happen anymore.

Possible solutions related to your router have already been mentioned by ScP. Also make sure that you do switch of your router completely and then switch it on again after a few seconds.
