Its probably already been suggested but id like to be able to create Usergroups within Teamspeak. Passwording channels can be troublesome if the password is given to people who shouldnt have it.

Id like to see channel restrictions based on Usergroups so that passwords could be made obsolete or better yet kept and used as another security option next to access via usergroup ?

The ability to create a usergroup,

name it and set the accessibility in the Teamspeak server would certainly be a great feature for us !

eg. Members, Guests, Premium Members etc

also

The ladies voice that announces that a player or member has joined ?

is it possible to create an admin option that would allow a sound file specified by the admin account to be played throughout the server when a person leaves or joins ?

Meaning that the admin could record a sound file either .mp3 .wav. etc

Saying "USERNAME XXXXXXXX" "has joined"

Saying "USERNAME XXXXXXXX" "has left"

This sound file is then played throughout the server to let all know who has joined and left ?

Teamspeak gets used by alot of clans and used whilst playing ingame - knowing that someone has joined the server when the ladies voice announces it is useful

but it would also be a great feature to be able to specify the account name that has joined by playing a pre recorded audio file on the server as well ? even if the lady voice says the joined and left bit preceded by a recorded sound file specified by the server admin ?

If this feature is adapted it could be stretched to incorporate a "Radio Station" feature ?

With the ability to play sound files incorporated into teamspeak you could upload .mp3 .wav's too the server which could be played into a specific channel ?

Our members are always placing their microphone against their speakers in an attempt to play other members songs. A radio feature that can play sound files into channels would make a nice feature imho.

This is a great Idea especially with the recording names of people for TeamSpeak useage. It would be a life saver for me too, so I don't have to keep asking people ingame to check and see who just joined. But the radio feature you can already master if you have 2 computers on the same network. If you are looking to play music over a long period of time like in the lobby room like I do or just to play music without having to put your sound on your mic. just do the following easy to follow steps.

-Lower your output volume all the way
-Put your voice to whisper
-Go to your sound options and click the options tab, then click properties
-go to Recording and click Ok.
-Click the Stereo Mix and there you go you have "Radio" Music. I use MSN Radio Plus to play music constantly. You can access this option as well through your Windows Media Player Radio Option.

-If you want to go back to normal just click Microphone on the Recording Area of the Sound Properties then reverse the steps and adjust your whisper volume to your liking again and your done.

They were looking for TTS engines for reading player names and other stuff, but last thing I heard is that these are either too expensive or simply to primitive for use in future TeamSpeak products.

But... There is one way...

What if you could record your own voice and put it in your server files. So when your friends get on your voice will play their names. This is somewhat possiable with Age of Empires II, where you can insert more sound files to play ingame or whatever.

@Mooncat: All of that has been requested in the TS3 wishlist thread. Also at http://www.teamspeak-systems.de/ts/products.php?lang=en&prod=ts3 it says that TS3 will have customizable permissions/usergroups.
