Me and a friend of mine both had problem that one of us went completely silent after an hour or so of Teamspeaking. I am XP/SB and he is ME/unknown. We could hear the other person talk, but we could not send anything.

The workaround for both of us was to alt-tab out to desktop and disconnect/connect. Then it worked for another hour or so.

To make things easier, I wrote a program that monitor the keyboard and whenever the "home-key" is pressed, TeamSpeak client disconnect from the current server, waits a second, and then connects again. This way you donīt have to alt-tab anymore from inside the game. Works very well for both of us.

If anyone has any problem that a disconnect/connect solves, this will make things alot easier, just hit "home" if you suspect noone hears you.

Post here and let me know if anyone is interested, and I will make the files available.

Well in the latest version you can bind a key to "connect to server". So just bind a pair of keys one to connect to a server that doesn't exist and one to connect back to the server you were using. I believe this mic cut out is a bug. I have had it happen to me and other folks connected to servers I was on.

Maybe they will find/fix it soon...

:) Overall it is still the best product I have seen for IP Voice.

macce:

What codec are / were you using?
When you cant be heard any more, does the green light next to your name on your computer turn on when you speak?

We are both using 16k(?) gsm (the highest anyway). We have tried everything with process priorities, direct sound on/off and so on.

The green light is flickering maybe 5 hz for my friend when the "bug" appears. Donīt remeber what it looks like when he cant hear me. We both have 10Mbit so we transmit 100% of the time normally, so the green light is always on then.

Wonderbiff, I agree! This is kick ass software! I am a developer myself and know how extremely diffucult it is to deal with different harward/driver and so on.

Let me know if I should investigate or look for something special.

Ok I am using the 14k codec on my server. Just FYI...

Other problem I ran into when I installed the server I could not log into it. I pasted the password into the server.ini and then I could log in. I also restarted the browser so I am not sure which fixed it.

Another time later I couldn't seem to log into another server I had been connected to already and just restarted browser to fix that. Seems like a problem with IE6 on xp.
