Whenever i message someone they get my message like 4 seconds later is there a way to fix this cause this gets annoying.
- how do you measure that 4 sec ?
- what ping do you and your friends have on the TS server ?

well ill talk then theyll say soemthing like 4 seconds later and ill hear ym echo or ill ask a question and theyll answer like awhile later. Like simple questions so there not just thinking.
1) - what ping do you and your friends have on the TS server ?
2) you should not hear your echo, sounds as if your friends do have a bad sound mixer setting: http://www.ekstremt.net/index.php?showtopic=81 There's also an echo thread in the FAQ

318 is a pretty bad ping. Most people average around 50-60 on mine. The 318 shows that there is a pretty decent lag so the 4 second delay seems reasonable.

I do not totaly agree with this statement: 318ms => 0.3 sec
It's certainly not a good ping, and the way the delay is measured is as well not very exact. You send oyur voice stream to your friend: 318ms + 35ms => lets say 400ms. He recordes that and sends it as an echo back to you => again 400ms = 1 sec delay at least. Now you have some more delay due to recording in the Sound card, process in the CPU, networking,... and processing in TS. Althougether with an assumption, that the ping is sometimes a bit higher (sometimes a bit lower), a delay of around 4 sec might be explainable. BUT: the actual delay is only half, as you measure the delay by the echo you have to devide it by two
