I've been trying for a week now to download the client but i'm unable to. Is there another place i can get it or does anyone know why i'm unable to dowload it? i'm using WinXP pro.
There is a search function on the forums for a reason. As I type this there is a thread about 6 threads below yours that says the exact same thing and there is another thread 12 threads below that one that says the same thing....

well i see you're a very constructive poster. someone please promote this person as i'm not sure these forums could go on without him. do me a favor and make your next post count or burn your keyboard. thanks =)
i saw the other posts and not a single one of them offered a solution. that's why i made a new post. this is my first post on this site and i wasn't sure how often it was frequented. hense the reason for the new post. if you can't offer me a solution, veggii, then please do me a favor and stfu.

Ohhhhh, so many links. I should probably include this
We strongly recommend that you do NOT download TeamSpeak from any website other than our own. Key reasons for this are:
* Downloading from our site ensures that you will always have the very latest, virus-free version of our product.
* You must acknowledge our License Agreement prior to downloading. Downloading from our website ensures that you have obtained and read the latest, legal version of the TeamSpeak License Agreement.
Here is an official response
It is a known problem that some people can't download from the official ftp servers for some odd reasons, but there ARE no official mirros except the ones you can find in the download section. I personally think it's not a problem on TeamSpeak Systems end but a conflict between the servers and some strange client side software that does not work well with the download servers.
However most of us are normal TeamSpeak users just like you are and so there is nothing else we can to than to offer you unofficial download mirrors we believe to be "save".
This is maybe not what you wanted to hear but when your anti virus keeps reporting trojans where there are none, your software needs to be adjusted to be "less agressive" with it's search algorithms. Some anti virus programs tend to report "false positives" rather often.
There is of course no guaranty that this is really a "false positive" but updating the virus definitions (might take some days until they get reports concerning the false positive) should help.
If you can't persuade yourself to trust us, you might want to ask someone you trust to send you a copy of the TeamSpeak software by email.
Can I borrow some gasoline to burn my keyboard?

i've seen those so you're not showing me anything i haven't seen. As for your second quote...well it's the reason i posted. If i had downloaded a version of TS from an external source i wouldn't be here would I? Also, i know they recommend not getting the client from any source except for the official site. The problem is they acknowledge the problem yet they don't offer any type of solution. When a download from an external source is posted a mod posts the same quote you just did. hmmm i see a pattern.
So, now that we're back to where we started from.... how much money do you need for the gas?
Alright kiddies, settle down. Try this link Auzorann: http://www.google.com/search?as_q=teamspeak+client+download&num=10&hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=e&as_sitesearch=goteamspeak.com&as_rights=&safe=images.
@veggii, I thought that Ch'Ih-Yu wasn't a teamspeak team member, so that would make his "Official Response" not very official. <- Not trying to burn, just an FYI.

Fortunately ScP finally modified the forum to display the new team icons.
By the way: I'm using similar icons on my forum for several months now and we both got the idea from GIGA.de. Thanks to the GIGA WPU. :p
However, as you can see, I don't have such a team icon. In short: You are right. I'm not a member of the teamspeak team. ;)
Your response to the issue seemed the most "offical" to me.
Oo gas is kinda expensive. probably around $10.
@veggii, you could buy it in cheap areas and use it whever you are. Maybe make it a business of buying low priced gas in bulk and shipping it across borders. LOL!

Instead of drug-smuggling, it will be gas-smuggling. Buhahahahah.
A while back I heard about this guy in the news that was smuggling cigarettes across US state borders and got in some big trouble because you are not allowed to transfer large ammounts over the border. Tha reason he did it was because it was a lot less tax on them in some states then others.
