Stuck on Mute

The microphone muted command is stuck as enabled. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the problem, but TS refuses to un-mute.

Sorry, meant program. It's not a windows volume control issue, it's TS having the "mute microphone" option toggled, and it refuses to un-toggle. It worked fine until a day or two ago.

- correct sound device selected in TS
- tested wave or direct sound

If that all does not help and you are sure it's a TS problem, uninstall it (with the hidden file Teamspeak.conf) and reinstall, that should solve the problem if it is really TS related. The code of TS did not canegd so there's no reason that the mute/unmute function in TS should not work anymore :confused:

I had this very same problem. Uninstalled, Reinstalled, even got rid of the .conf file which resides in your profile...

Turns out it was another sound app I had open that was using the mic input, so TS couldnt grab it for its input. As soon as I closed the other app I had open, I restarted TS and everything worked fine.

So basically, make sure you don't have any other application that could possibly be using the mic input, otherwise teamspeak will say the mic is muted and it won't unmute.

I'm assuming those that had issues with "Speakers" being stuck on mute had the same problem, just with the output instead of input. Some sound apps lock the outputs as well.
