Here is the story:
My friend recently moved and his ts was working perfect, no connection issues, no problems. Now after changing ISP's he cannot connect to our gaming server at all. He can connect to any other server (non-password tested only so far) without any problems at all. He has no firewall active and has turned all anti-virus software off (AVG). He is using a Motorola Surfboard for a Modem with no router. Any suggestions or comments as to why this may be? The server and his client are on the same ISP but different IP addresses. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.
timeout ? => go for the FAQ (no reply / timeout)
might also be helpfull to contact the ISP and ask about this specific problem

Tried everything posted in the forums to no avail. Reinstalling doesn't work, and my own client and the one that doesn't work are on the same ISP, different IP numbers, so I am clueless as to why he cannot connect and I can with no problems. No firewall running at all and everything running on the system has been disabled. He can also connect to any other server except mine. We have no Ban list, and he has tried joining after I created a registered account and without it. Very discouraging that it would work all this time when he lived 1200 miles away, then quit after changing ISP's and moving a block away form the server. Thanks for any help anyone can give, but at this point there seems to be no answer.
PS - Here is the log file:

My friend is getting this same log error. He was also able to connect just last night not even 24 hours ago and now he can't.

I still wonder why everyone posts "reinstalling doesn't work" but non gives feedback about the debug mode. I'm only aware that the FAQ tells you to try the debug mode but not a reinstall so I'd expect feedback on that ???
I assume you (your friend) tested the debug mode so my last guess would be to:
- try connecting as anonymous
- try an older TS client from the FTP server (the one before 32.60), they are reported to be a bit less timeout sensitive
otherwise why not contact the ISP, one would assume inside the same ISP network a connection should be quite stabel ?

I have tried the following things to this point over a week time:
1 - Re-installing older versions of teamspeak
2 - Disabled any Firewalls (none on)
3 - Changed server settings (ports, passwords/no password, etc.)
4 - Called ISP, to which I received the answer "we do not support voice chat clients and it is against our policy and terms"
5 - No wireless system being used at all
6 - Can easily connect to any other server available (non-password protected ones only tested for obvious reasons)
7 - Ran TS client in Debug mode and all other modes and am still getting this essage in the log:
---------------------------------------------------------------
-------------- log started at 20-02-06 16:07 -------------

So the only thing left to try would be to reformat the system and I doubt at this point it would help any. I have read numerous posts of people with the same issues and the link that is given to help gives no other options then what I have tried to this point. Any last suggestions at all? Is there plans to release a new client that isn't so timeout sensitive or any patch to the current one? Thanks for any and all help over the past few days...

that is very helpfull (however I didn't expected they would help). this could also mean they do filter voice tools, and as long as you don't get a statement from them... I'd say you should better look out for a different ISP.

not to my knowledge until TS3 will be released.
My experience with timouts and TS are that if we got timeouts still with older clients, we got problems with other UDP based apps (games) as well. Running the TS server on home connections was (from time to time) a game of luck. For most users it worked, some had often problems
I don't understand this at all, its really making me angry because he is having problems every other day. Last night he could get in, today he can't. I'm really getting angry with this and hope that either the ISP or TeamSpeak Team find a soluation to this problem. This never happened until resently so it doesn't make since. Sorry for my anger but you have to understand...
