Error on running TS

I can run TS and link to channels - BUT I cannot change from voice activated or shut TS down without using task manager

The error I get when TS starts - which doesnt seem to inhibit it running - just the problems above is

"undetermined error occured inside the direct input subsystem. This value is equal to the E_FAIL standard COM return value"

obviously your direct input system which is part of DirectX is somehow "corrupt". I'd try to reinstall directX
