View Full Version : Seeking Help for this Old Man
I have read many many post here and the more I read the more I get confused. Being old <g> I am a slow learner so please bear with me. I am trying to get a script, (so I was told that is what I need) so I can have my T/S available in the bookmarks so that others can see who is on my T/S before joining. I know nothing about PHP but do have a little HTML knowledge. Not sure why I need html if T/S is on my computer and not on a website. If a script simple one is available can some please direct me to it and how to install or place it within my computer. You young people are a lot sharper than I am so please bear with me. Thanks in advance
Explain "available in the bookmarks"
Where exactly do you want this information displayed?
What I am trying to do is make my T/S available so that people can view using their browser who is on T/S before they log into T/S. I have seen this many time but can't understand how or where to place what I need. Here is one of many I have found http://angband.lomsdal.com/listing.php?detail=128.39.88.122&detailport=8767&page=1&sort=server_name&direction=asc&showgroup=all Thanks for the quick response.
First step would be to set up XAMPP on your fshost computer. -> www.xampp.org
It comes with all the necessary programs you need for any of these display scripts.
Another alternative is to use a public listing. But this choice may not be very "pretty".
You'll be listed along with many other servers, and some lists don't guarantee full time listing. They are limited to a max number of servers and will frequently drop old servers from the list.
The advantage would be that you don't need the "run" a web server.
This is a public list:

All you have to do is configure the TeamSpeak Server to webpost to:
http://php.gryphonllc.com/gllcts2/webpost.php
When your server is listed, you could make a link to the "Details Page" matching your server. But this will only work if your TS server is always at the same IP and port.
Example Link:

Thank you for the help. I guess this idea is going on the back burner.
