Damn Hacker Got My Server

My server was taken over by a hacker today. Now I can`t even log into server admin. All I can do is joining as anonomous. I rent my ts from clanservers with my gameserver. Is there a way to prevent hackers from getting into the server again? How about if I password lock the server can they still get into it?

1. Contact your server hoster asap and tell them the whole story. Only they can do anything about it.
2. Read the appropriate FAQ entry. Anything I could tell you about keeping out the evil guys is already written there.

Ok I read the faq and I found nothing to answer my question. Does anyone else know if I password lock the ts server if thats the way to keep hackers out?

Well, depends on the way those "hackers" (or rather crackers) used to subvert your server. If it was a weak password or the Ctrl+E feature then yes.

There is many threads on here on how to make your server more secure start reading. Like Brain said also contact your host and they will fix it for you.
