Hi I am not new to teamspeak. I have been using it as a client for the past year or so. But I am new to setting up a server. I downloaded and installed the server stuff on my computer. I have set up all the settings according to the manual. I have a problem with getting into the teamspeak. I thought that it was a router problem and contacted the tech support and they helped me set up and open ports for teamspeak. When I try to get in the teamspeak, it says that I have a bad name or password. I have tried both ip address that it shows in the window. How do I fix this? And can someone contact me on msn to help walk me thru the set up of this?? You will need to first email me so I can get you on my contact list. My email is killerlady********.com this is also my msn. Please someone come to my rescue.

Thank you.

No we will not email you. Since it says that error at least it is contacting your server (that is good) the first step is to see if you can connect as an anonouymus person. Open up the teamspeak client and click quick connect. enter your servers LAN IP. It should be something like 192.168.*.*** Also find out the difference between WAN and LAN IP. Leave nickname, login name and password blank. then click connect.

Remember that TS is case sensitive. Check server.dbs to be sure of your username and password.

Can you connect via the web interface ? (localhost:14534/slogin.html)
