Ok so.. i have two scenarios here..

1. i have a ts server set up on my computer . strait connection to the internet, no router.

the ip adress is 24.81.251.30:8767

so i set the server up. admin. and all. and i was able to connect to it myself.

but i had some friends try it and it said that there is no server with that adress or teamspeak is not running on it. (no reply from server. or something like that)

anyhelp

scenario #2

i have the same computer. set up. but through a router. now i would liek to leave my network together. but the ip adress changes and even i cannot connect to the server myself. so is there some settings i need to change to use teamspeak through my router??

Depending on your router you should be able to make your LAN IP's static, so they wont change on you. Also the fact that your friends can't connect in scenario#1 suggests that you have a firewall on your comp that is blocking UDP port 8767. Also for your router you will need to port forward UDP 8767 to your servers specific LAN IP. Dont forget to give your friends your WAN IP for them to connect (you should use its LAN IP)
