Same place you get a Ferrari for free. Nowhere. Most ISPs only assign dynamic IP addresses that change every few hours, days or perhaps if you're lucky, weeks.

https://www.dyndns.com/services/ get a Dynamic DNS for free. point it at your IP and BAM, free static IP.

You have dynamic, your ISP just probably hasn't changed yours in a long time. Mine hasnt changed mine for over a year now.

He is right I am with Cox and I have a dynamic ip and have had it for O about 4 months now. I can get a static ip if I want to goto a business package though. They do still change though i've had them and yes they still change them on you even though they say they won't .
