Hi.

Sorry to hear, you're having troubles running TeamSpeak .

As far as I can tell by the F.A.Q., support is not given for remote administration of TeamSpeak, and they reffer to the host.

However - the problem might be lacking rights. You have to have access to virtually everything on the server, and the fact that you cant use the GUI might suggest that certain features - like shell and trays also are uavailable to you.

I dont know that much about remote administrating TeamSpeak, but I wanted to enlighten you as to the existence of a tool

http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/

It's a script that attemps to connect to your Teamspeak server on different levels. It tries connecting to the UDP port, as the client would - but it also attempts connecting to the HTTP port, which is the port you use for webadmin. It also attempts making a TCP port query.

Also - Do you have admin rights to Teamspeak on the remote host - or superadmin?

The reason for me to ask, is that if you are only "admin" I believe you can be denied access to the web controlpanel by the superadmin, under permissions. The server admins task is primarily to run the server from the client GUI, adding users, creating channels, banning users, etc. But the superadmin can create several servers, change ports, start and stop servers, and so forth. Therefore, not many hosts allow the customer to be superadmin, and doesn't allow server admin access to the web admin control panel.

hey, results as follows:

UDP: Fail
TCP: Ok
HTTP: Ok

i have superadmin .. any other suggestions to do UDP problem? No firewall is stopping the connection on a further note :D

Well... Obviously, something is blocking the access to the UDP server on the server. try typing

http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx:yyyy where x is servers ip, and y is the UDP port. If that gives you a 404 (Page not found) error, you can be almost certain that the traffic to the port is blocked.

If so, what is blocking the port, why, and how to get solved will be something you have to solve with the server admin (If that's you too - you might be in for a serius debate with your self :D )

Good luck troubleshooting
