I am trying to configure it to play a wav or MP3 file directly over TS.

I only have one device option to choose from for input and output, the SB sound card. I assume to get input from the soundcard for a wav file, I should be changing the Sound Driver under Options in TS from Direct Sound to Wave.

That doesnt seem to work though. Any steps I am missing?

Thanks.

NO.

Speakers are very BAD quality. If you want the best quality sound and have a headset, then listen up now.

First, open up your Volume Controls and then go to Options and then Properties and click on Recording and check all in the options box and then click "OK" and then check "MONO OUT" or "LINE OUT" to play it and then when it/you are finished, click it back to "MICROPHONE".

Thank you Swerve, got it working perfectly now.

One side note. I switched my output from Microphone to Wave under my Volume control panel in Windows, but I also had to go into Settings / Options in TS and change Sound Driver from Direct Sound to Wave. Once I did that it worked perfect.

Thanks again.
