Connection Problems

I have followed all the instructions on Portforward.com yet still cannot connect to a teamspeak server, my router is a bt voyager 2091 im running win xp. ive forwarded the ports as per the instructions on the site and ive opened ports on the windows firewall. My isp is BT . Im stumped ive been at this for nearly a wekk and wouldnt normally post asking for help but im completely stuck. Thank yo in advance.

when running only the client you do not need a port forwarding (beside it's more or less useless). Most surely you still have a firewall problem or a timeout (see FAQ "no reply / timeout")

Ive tried disabling my firewall (windows firewall) but its made no differnce , like i say im stumped ive tried following the tutorials but am getting nowhere.
