Me and a bud are thinking about starting to sell TS and are wondering if the license changes for just for the servers that you are hosting for profit or for all teh servers,


my clan has a 999 slots TS and we are going to host off of the same box and I guess my questions is, is the money charged for license based off of the root IP or the IP's that are given to you?

I'm not sure what you mean by root ip. But, it is based per machine. check this page for more info: http://sales.tritoncia.com/pricing.php

like our root IP is 72.36.226.170 the only difference between our servers is the port, so one server can be 72.36.226.170:8777 and another one can be 72.36.226.170:7777 and another one can be 72.36.226.170:8888, I was wondering if the price would be billed off of the 72.36.226.170 ip or the port?


I get the pricing and every thing I just do not get if it is on the port or on the root IP.

Neither. It is based off of the machine. (FYI: You can have more then one IP per machine.)

well, we have more then one IP, How do you set up the server client for teamspeak on another IP other then the one it is on now?

You mean "server program" right? Not, "server client". You could run it on different users. But, I don't know of any way to use the BoundToIp that way, because you would be using the same config filebut with different instances. Sorry... anyone else?

Well TeamSpeak sales like charges you for your license. I used to do it and I didn't pay it because I thought it was some bull and I didn't really do that, so yeah.
