I used to use this TS server and had some people join it just fine. I reset the router and havent used the server in awhile. I also re forwarded 8767 UDP, 14534 TCP, 51234 TCP in the router, and reworked the server and its up and running however i cannot connect. I've spent some hours reading the posts and trying to figure out what i did wrong. I've done this before but its ben awhile. I don't even know where to begin looking. I've double checked everything. I cannot connect using my WAN or LAN ip.... the 192.168.1.1 and all any suggestions?! please?!
You cannot connect using your LAN IP? what about using 127.0.0.1 or localhost ?

the 127.0.0.1 IP worked and the server seems normal, what does that mean for me now? Actually i just tried again and the 192.168.1.101 ip adress works as well, How can i go about fixing the server to its normal IP so everyone can join?
Goto http://portforward.com/routers.htm and select your router, then select Teamspeak then follow the instructions.

if you test that locally, no wonder, your router will not support that (most surely). Oh, by the way, we have a "no reply ..." FAQ, you might read it (see FAQ link in my signature)

OK im sorta lost does this mean i can connect to my server through the LAN ip and tell my friends to joint hrough the WAN IP and everyone should be in the same server and it should all work? Also theres that test page about making sure the 3 ports are opened and it failed all 3 but i have all of them open on my routers page. my firewall has them opened and is off... im lost ..

I'd say that was the intention of the TS developpers, and from my experience that the way it works

That's an indication that your ports are probably still not open ?
Maybe you've noticed th link in the "no reply" FAQ (portforwarding.com or what ever it's called). They have more infos concerning proper router config then we have.
