Channel Activity Indicator

It's great that TS shows you when someone is talking with an indicator light, but this only happens if you are in the same channel. Often we have the need to "whisper" across channels, but don't know if we are stepping on that channel.

Could channel icons themselves light up when there is any (non-whispering) chat happening in that channel?

Along those lines, how about having the light indicator change to a different color if someone is whispering you, so that you don't have to say, "this is a whisper, blah blah blah."

Or, how about the option to prefix a whisper with a wav sound (preferably user defineable), eg a short chime or "message from command" etc.
