php 4 not 5 script

ive seen all these ts online viewer scripts and tried em all and the found out that the server that i host stuff on is php4 not 5, does anyone kno of a script that works with php 4

I think every script I saw in this forum was written for PHP 4 (and is therefore also PHP 5 compatible) but what makes you think they are only for PHP 5?

dunno just from what ive seen the scripts will work on php5 and not 4, i have a temp webserver runin 5 and they all work, but when i host it on a server with php4 it dont work

hmm this should be just by chance that it worked on your php5 and not on your php4. probably the server with php4 has some restrictions or is badly configured (maybe a problem with this well-known fsockopen() thing)
maybe a look in the phpinfo(); or some testscripts on the php4 server will helping discovering the problem.

For a PHP developer the problem is that there are at the moment unfortunately too less server hosters do support PHP 5.

i kno the fsokopen this is right and all other things r, theserver even runs php nuke

so then it's your turn to find the problem on your server

PS: It does not say anything if it runs PHP-Nuke.
