How do I set up TS to use Mouse Button 5 for push to talk, It will allow me to use 1,2, and 3 but not 4 or 5.
I AM NOT USEING LOGITECH DRIVERS!!!!!!!!
What model and brand mouse are you trying to use?
I was able to make this work by using the logitech mouse software to configure my button 6 to be the scroll lock key. This way when I press it all that happens is the scroll lock light goes on and off. This is great since none of the games\apps I have use the scroll lock button for anything.
Then just configure the TS client for the scroll lock button as your push to talk enabler. Done!
OR
If you have a USB logitech mouse just do not use the logitech drivers on Win2k and WinXP but the default windows drivers and all should work fine.
My expeience is that the logitech mouse drivers screw up the binding of mouse 4-x. This happens in TS and a few games.
Hopefully these will help.

I am useing a Logitech MX500 Mouse and I do not use there drivers as there drivers are just a bunch of fluff and bs, they change the stock config to do the same exact thing only its not fully compatible with games and such.
In the config when I try and press button 5 nothing happens, I can press 1 2 or 3 but not 4 or 5.

Ayone know how to get this working, I dont wont use the logitech drivers in order to remap the button to something else, I looked for a config file to try and edit, but all I could find was a file that when opened in Notepad was nothing but cat scratches.

Yes mate, I know exactly how to do it.
First of all, install the Logitech drivers. You cannot do what you want to do without them. They are not bs drivers they are fantastic and I've never ever had a problem with them in 5 years so something must be right.
You need to set a keystroke to the button you want to use. So in your case, button 4, select it (in Logitech's SetPoint program...) and choose keystroke. I use the ; button or ' or even . , etc. Use scroll lock if you really want to though.
Then simply go into teamspeak and set the button by pressing it and you will see the ; or ' appear depending on what you chose to use.
That's all there is to it mate. You can't do it without the drivers so don't use Windows drivers.

Sorry I just realised you probably know how to do everything I just suggested...but how do you expect it to recognise button 5 when there's no windows support for that many buttons??? lol you have to do it the way I suggested. Just thought I'd mention though, that I was aware you had tried this.

How do I expect it to recognice button 5! Well almost every other application I use includding windows itself recognises button 5, In firefox button 5 is for moving forward after useing button 4 to move back pages, Ventrillo recognises it just fine as does 90% of the games I play. In In fact, Team speak is the only program I have that when I tried to set Button 5 to a function it was not recognised.
I dont want to use the logitech drivers and I will not use them, I should not have to remap the buttons on my mouse for a single aplication. But I do thank you for your help.

If you can configure your Mouse Button 5 to a keyboard key, e.g "9", then do it. Then, in Teamspeak, go where you configure what buttom is "push to talk", then put in the key that you designated your Mouse Button 5. Example, configure your drivers so your mouse button 5 is set to " \ ". In teamspeak, for push to talk, put in " \ ". Whenever you push that mouse button, it's pushing the " \ " key, so teamspeak will recognize it. Same thing with games.

Do any of you actually read the posts before posting!
I AM NOT USEING LOGITECH DRIVERS!!!!!!!!
I have been told 6 times to change the key setup in the drivers, but I have made it clear that I am not useing the driver and I will not use them because 1 single aplication out of 20,000,000 does not regognize multi button mice. I will assume there is no way to get TS to recognize button 5 on a mouse!
