Hello

I'm new too the forums and never had Teamspeak problems before now. I've just rebuild my whole system with a Audigy 2 ZS.The Audigy 2 ZS that I have has the plug in from the back not the front. I had a Sound Blaster Live which I had no problems using TS on.

Before asking for help I've read these forums from top too bottom concerning sound and no sound on TS. I've done a whole review 3x over on sound setting(control Panel) and TS settings. When I do a local Test for voice I do not hear anything when I talk. And when logged into TS too chat with my guild mates the green dot indicator does not flash as it should when trying too talk on TS.

I'm a register user on the guild TS. But I've read that you have too be given access too talk or granted rights, could that be the problem.

I have tested my (Plantronics) headphone for sound using a window sound tab. I'm not sure what too do anymore. I'm really lost on what step I should take next too solve the problem

If your local loopback test doesn't work it's not a lack of privileges.

The Audigy 2 ZS that I have has the plug in from the back not the front.
I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. I have an Audigy 2 as well (Audigy 2 Value), but I'm using the usual connectors on the slot. No problems with the card whatsoever.
Perhaps those front plugs are not connected correctly to your sound card?

I was thinking of the Audigy2 Platinum that has the face panel. All I did was plug in the Audigy2 ZS into the slot and did the drivers-everything works fine. I have sound and such just can't talk. I wondering if it might be the cards settings?

I don't ever remembering has this amout of trouble with my older sound card Sound Blaster live.

Oh by the way I can read this LOLOL

The settings? Well, if you know how to set your recording source there's not much else you need to set. Hmmm... except multi-speaker mode. If you enable more than 2 pairs of speakers the line-in and microphone INPUTS are used as OUTPUTS (at least on my Audigy value). You might want to check on that.

I'm getting there. Good news is I can hear myself when I put the headphones on and talk.....but its been stream lined or constant. It will not let me use the "push button activate"
too talk.

Am I stream lining from the speakers too the headphone set? I've looked for that magic little button that will stop the stream lining or from constantly hearing myself talk. I'd like too use the "push button to activate" in TS.

What am I missing.
