annoying problem

I am on TS with my friends and once I am on...I can't talk.I got to write.I have a mic and everything but it wont work...we tryed so much.I don't know if its my mic that is wrong(don't think so)if it's something I did...but PLEASE answer me!all I can do is listen to other people talk...
