Recently, whenever I try to connect to my friend's server, i get the error

[19:47:14] Connecting to xx.xx.xxx.xxx:8767
[19:47:17] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

I talk to my other friends, and they all say they can connect fine.

This happens sometimes, like once every 2 weeks (I just try to connect again, and it would work) , but recently, I can't connect at all. I don't know what's wrong. It's not just this server, either, it's any server.

This is getting very annoying. Someone, please help.

Thanks,
~Cryogenic

could actually be a problem on his end if his router is blocking you

what's his router and config on it?

check your firewall/settings/router as well

First thing I would do is see if I can ping the IP address.

get to your command prompt

ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx

Some routers can block ping requests, so... I'm not sure if your friend has that blocked or not

If you can ping his ip, then it's something else.
Are you at a school/college doing this or at your house? reason: possible port blocking.

If you can ping it and not connect, MAYBE have your friend use another port besides 8767 and try that.

I dare to say, make sure you have it typed in correctly and make sure there are no spaces after the port number.

Maybe he's not really your friend and is blocking your IP address everytime your router resolves a new one.. Try other teamspeak servers, see what happens.
