Hi I just installed teamspeak and got it up and running, what I don't know how to do is make the voice just go through my headset instead of going through my computer speakers.

When I go to sounds and audio devices in control panel, all of my voice and sound recording and playback only has my sound card driver as a choice in the drop down menu.

I have onboard sound on my motherboard, but use my soundcard as my sound output.

Any idea how to make the voice come through my headset and keep the rest of the sounds coming through my computer speakers?

Thanks

Try adjusting your speaker settings via control panel | sound and audio devices

but as far as keeping your speakers working and voice just going through the headset.....dont think that can be done the way you want it to

Sorry

One way i got this to work was with speakers and a usb headset. I had normal sound going to speakers but i made the input and output device in teamspeak. Are you using a usb headset?

If you have onboard audo and an additional soundcard, make sure they both are functioning properlly outside of teamspeak.

teamspeak can only pick what's availabe to it from windows, it doesn't go out and load drivers for your stuff to make it work. if a soundcard is not listed, then you need to check your card on the windows side of things.
