I'm shopping for a soundcard right now and i would really like to know which i can use without problems in conjunction with Windows XP and Battlefield 1942.
Right now i have a Soundblaster live, but i have issues with it all the time. Would the Audigy 2 bring improvement or is it best to switch brands entirely?
Help me out please.

Does anyone have experience yet with the soundchip used on NForce2 boards? It certainly looks interesting.

I have an Asus A7N266-E which uses the n-Force chipset.
I've the latest drivers from the Asus site for all the integrated components on the Motherboard.
I've not really encountered many issues at all - Is quite stable with TS2.
Every so often while gaming which TS & Ghost Recon the voice get quite bad, in which the only way to solve the issue, is to reboot the PC. (This is extremely rare tho)
Other than that it's quite happy.
