We have a lan with three computers. one computer is the server, and the other two are used by the gamers. unfortunately only one of the gamer computers can be connected to the server at a time, does anyone know why this is and how to solve the problem? thanks.
please ask this question in a network forum.
this forum is for teamspeak related question.

wtf guldi... that was really helpful. not. how was my question not teamspeak related i was talking about a teamspeak server and two comps connecting to it, whats the problem with that? if ur not gonna give me a helpful answer then dont say anything, kthx.
We tried connecting to both the router IP AND the outside IP, no dice with either.
now realize that tons of outside computers can join, weve had up to 12 people on our teamspeak server at once, its just that i can only get one at a time from my LAN to be able to connect to it.

understood, I would like to help you but at present I have only two machines on my LAN and have not tried connecting by LAN because both my units have thier own outside IP's.
Hope someone else with a larger LAN can step up here.
I really can't imagine that this is TS related. sorry if I'm wrong.
I run a TS server in my switched LAN with 2 LAN clients (one runns the server too). Both LAN PC's join with the LAN IP of the server. Other players join trough the WAN IP which is forwarded to the server's LAN IP.
you need to give us more infos about your network, what error you get wehn trying to connect,...
can you ping the server LAN IP from all PC's ?
What OS is the server and the clients using?
How is your network set up? Hub, router,Switch?
What happens when you try to connect a second computer to the TS server?
Are you using dynamic or static lan ips for your clients and server?
Do you have a fire wall on the server? Can either computer connect to the server alone?

Tovlakas you probably should have tried the Server IP to connect to from your lan clients.
Example:
162.213.70.121 Router (internet interface)
192.168.1.1 Router (LAN interface)
192.168.1.10 Server (LAN)
192.168.1.11 Client1 (LAN)
192.168.1.12 Client2 (LAN)
Now internet clients connect via the router's external / internet ip address. The router redirects the data packets to the server. This is not necessary for your lan clients because they can reach the server directly.
