Hosting..Free?

I've been using vent to host for a small group, but I'm limited to 8 or less with that, so I made the jump to teamspeak.

However, I've read a few things that make me question if this is OK. Basically I'm asking if it's all ok that I'm using the server software to host a channel, or if I have to register something and pay a fee.

the information you give us is not enough to answer that question (do you charge others, do your run other services you charge for on that server,.....). Basically you should get all information from the licensing FAQ.

If you just run a TS server you open for the public or friends and do not advertise or charge money, it's generall safe to say you do not need a license. To be sure, the licensing FAQ is the official place to get that info, all answers in the forum do not have an official character.
