controller Used for "Push To Talk"

ok.. I got PS2 look-a-like controller and i want to know if i can use the R1 button to talk on TS so i dont gotta reach up to the keybaord and push a button?? i dont wanna use auto talk.. ive tryed settin the button but i wont work any tricks?? i got a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2

I use a little free utility called JoyToKey to do it (should be easy to find on google). I setup a keyboard key for push to talk in TS then in JoyToKey I map a button from my game controller to that keyboard key. Works great.
